Yet another quick update

Hey guys, here’s a boring video of me tiredly explaining why there hasn’t been a recipe yet this month and how that’s not going to last much longer.

You should try “spreadshirt.com” instead of printing/shipping yourself. I have a shop on there and it’s pretty beast, so if you’re looking at options check it out. It’d probably be better for you since you don’t have time to spend on that shit. So you can set it up once and just take your cheques when they roll in. Looking forward to more comics, hopefully you can get a cookbook out some day! gl

You can design, and create all kinds of things and make a store, you make a minor profit on each one sold, but you end up with NONE of the risks of printing too many, not being able to meet demand.

Just an idea. for your shirts and aprons, they also do a lot of other things

    Tyler,
Real life comes first. Keep up the good work in college and post when you can. Sounds like you really have your plate full.
Looking forward to the t-shirts and aprons. Also looking forward to your next post, whenever that happens.

I love that the video length was 3:14 (pi) maybe it was even 3:14 and 15 frames..

Still 100% down for a 4XL T-Shirt. I hope the chainsaw on an onion might be a print option though!

  5. Matt Says:

“Good luck out there.” Haha, love it. Looking forward to the next recipe! Have a great time on vacation.

Tyler, you wonderful creature, do you have a girlfriend? If not, would you like one? I’m British, rather crazy, and surprisingly low maintenance ;) The only catch is, yes, I live in Britain. Let me know :D

  7. Lycoan Says:

Hey it’s perfectly fine man studies comes first. All the best.

I see no need to apologize – you’ve obviously got your priorities straight, and the rest of us can certainly be patient while you carve out time for more awesomeness. I mean, D3 drops soon, and that will certainly distract from food for a couple months at least…..

  9. NotQuiteAtlas Says:

Dude, don’t stress yourself out trying to juggle priorities. You sound pretty wiped out. Finals are now but the internet will always be out there. I adore your site and sense of humor but I’m not constantly checking back every hour wondering “what the hell is that Tyler screw up doing?! I want more recipez!” Anyone who hassles you about it doesn’t deserve it.

I’ve got you on my RSS feed and I’m happy when it lights up saying you managed to squeeze an update in. That said, thanks for what you do and best of luck with school/the book/everything.

Can’t wait! Enjoy your vacation Tyler! You’ve inspired me to stop buying Lean Cuisines and eating fast food for dinner!

Just wanted to say that I love these comics and although I haven’t gotten a chance to try out any of them I will be very shortly. I would definitely be down to buying t-shirts, and I would recommend Topatoco for distributing tees. I know a lot of other web comics I read go through them, so I definitely urge you to go through them. I would also like to see, if possible, some 3XL and larger shirts. Have a great vacation man!

  12. James Says:

So… you miss an update, and to “make up” for it, you give us a video apologising for not updating your own work during a stressful and busy time, and promising us much more to come, with the added bonus of news on the shirts/aprons?

You, good sir, are a hero.

  13. Jaryd Says:

You make cooking amazing, and you apolgize for needing time for your life? No need to say sorry, but because you did, Your a champion. Good luck again with the Book ;), also Eager to get me A Shirt. Cheers from Australia!

  14. Chrissy Says:

Enjoy your vacation, you deserve it after a grueling semester… I feel your pain! :) I’m really excited about the aprons. I can’t wait to order mine!

  15. Melissa Says:

D: Aprons!!! T-shirts!!! Me needs! Damn! I need to move to the US! I hope you deliver to third world countries :P Have a great vacation,!

  16. Eric Says:

No need to apologize, good sir. We’d rather have you healthy and kicking than getting content on time and have you drive yourself to exhaustion. Gotta take care of yourself before you take care of others.

Having said that, really looking forward to the future of your creativity!

  17. Joe Says:

Can I make out with you?

  18. OmarFromKuwait Says:

Good luck man, would like to see some more stoner-friendly food.

  19. Logan Says:

I agree with everyone else. Update when you can. I would feel horrible if you totally burned out or started hating everything because you felt forced to work on this instead of recovering. I also can’t wait for the shirts and aprons. And if I may, I would buy a shirt and an apron of the “We do it live” drawing from the 2 A.M. chili recipe. If it’s popular enough to warrant the work of course.

  20. Kate Says:

Hey! I totally understand where you are coming from with your finals. I just finished mine and graduated yesterday with an associates degree. To celebrate; we are having a Hobo Pie Graduation Party on Memorial Day weekend. Thanks for all recipes and the inspiration!! The McGuffin Muffins were good as well though I think we used the wrong kind of biscuits. Good luck! Well Wishes and looking forward to seeing what’s coming next!

  21. Emily Says:

I find myself in need of a sexy pancake tshirt. it holds a special place in my heart. love what you’re doing! cant wait to follow where this goes:)

  22. Frimmy Says:

Love your site, I check in semi regularly to catch the updates. I find it very entertaining, love LOVE! the stick man instructor and his antics – and the recipes are very appealing. Update when you can, we’re a loyal group.
Can’t wait for the store to open.
