KNEW IT. I follow you both, and this collaboration is full of WIN.
Pancakes… mmmm and it’s the WEEKEND.

  5. Kit Says:

I dig the recipe, but I don’t dig the crossover of styles. I don’t enjoy TK’s presentation. Different people, different opinions. *shrugs*

  6. Doni Says:

Love this comic. Keep up the great work, and wish you well with the book, I for one am getting one.

  7. Seth Says:

Drop the language. It detracts from your wit.

  8. Kris Says:

Gotta go find me some peaches…

    Love the collaboration! More please!

  9. Miranda Says:

Y’all idiots telling him the language isn’t necessary OBVIOUSLY didn’t pay attention to the part where he’s collaborating with THUG KITCHEN. Two styles in one place. this shit is sublime!

  10. Burg Says:

Please ignore the people complaining about the language, because they don’t pay attention to begin with.

  11. Kybll Says:

I gotta go find some decent peaches!!

  12. Orobas Says:

Unf I wet myself a little when I saw this.

As for these fools complaining about the language, clearly they don’t know what the do.

    Imma make these sunday :D!

  13. Claingbot Says:

Hilarity! Thrilled to see both teams hooking up to make great food funny. The cooking world could do with a little more humour.

  14. Ladeedahlia Says:

I love this collaboration! Two great cooking blogs in one!

  15. Lokemix Says:

Language? Didn’t you motherfuckers read the damn comic! It’s thug kitchen! Imma devour those pancakes!

  16. tonya cinnamon Says:

    yummmmmmmmm <3

  17. Cody Says:

Never said where the almond milk goes I’m just going to go on ahead and assume that it goes in with the peaches before it gets mixed with the dry stuffs.

  18. Tami Says:

Oh this is just perfect. I wanted peaches this morning but they’re not awesome, too dry. Time for PEACH PANCAKES!

  19. Elizabeth Says:

Two of my favorite foodies in one place! How many pancakes make up a serving?

  20. James Says:

lol, Dick Cakes! Now, those are sexy pancakes. I think. Great recipe!

  21. Cathurs Says:

I love your delivery,Thug! This is the most fun I’ve had reading and working with a recipe, Thanks!

  22. Marie Says:

i’m a pancake junkie, and these look ridonk. i think these need to happen in my kitchen.

  23. Rachel Says:

Hey I pay attention! But I’ve never seen Thug Kitchen and this didn’t make me want to run right out and look them up. I don’t mind bad words, I mean I tell my kids to ignore them in my music all the time…..but it was too much.

The occasional word bombs from CC do make it funnier, but too much is too much. For me.

But the dick pancake? Preceded by the shit-eating-grin in the previous pane? I’ll laugh all morning over that. So classy. (No bad words needed and it was seriously funny.) (And if your general style, up to now, had had all the cussing I wouldn’t have ordered your cookbook. I’m only one person, but that’s my opinion. So, I guess I’m not loving the collaboration.)

  24. Leah Says:

Cooking Comically and Thug Kitchen….I cannot wait for your upcoming cookbooks. Both of you make me smile. It’s awesome hilarious that you both collaborated a recipe of sheer heathy and very delicious pancakes. I will definetly make these again. Thank you both.

  25. Leah Says:

I made spelling errors…my bad….hopefully you get my point. Kudos and keep doing what you’re doing! Don’t let anyone stop you!!!

  26. Arbi Says:

I love every recipe you put up here. I love your wit and style and I really appreciate the mixing of styles it was awesome. Please keep this up and always remember. Haters gonna hate!

  27. Miah Says:

I love your recipes and the way you draw, its pretty cool…but the language, necesary? i think they are pretty awesome and dont need the added words…just sayin…other than that, great job!

  28. christine Says:

Its was diferente. And funny! You have change over the year but still good!! Easy. With. The bad words! You make the point with your character! !

  29. Hans Says:

First off wanna say I love the site, I love anything that makes cooking fun/cool anything to get away from that suburban house wife shit but if I had to make one criticism its the language. Now i’m all for some strategic swear words, I mean fuck you gotta do what you gotta do but I think its over done. That being said, do what you gotta do its not gonna stop me from reading.

  30. Sean Says:

Why are people complaining about the language? This is a collaboration piece… and it’s Thugkitchen’s style. If you don’t understand, please check out the site so you understand.

You don’t invite Michael Bay on to guest-direct something insightful, well shot, and without horribly shaky cinematography… or bring on Snoop Dogg to sing a melodic kid’s song.

  31. Frimmy Says:

Love the collaboration. I follow you both and this seemed like a natural partnership. Glad to hear the teddy bear made it. Can’t wait for your book.

  32. Orobas Says:

oh lawd, bunch of people on the internet being offended by the occasional instance of the word FUCK. Same internet that gave us goatse and 2girls1cup, but flip their shit at the occasional profanity.

    Get over yourselves.

  33. Chris Says:

I gotta say, I don’t like the overuse of language. I think sometimes it can add artistically, but I think in this case it detracts from it. Just an opinion.

  34. Chantel Marie Says:

I wish you’d make some 6 Ingredient cookies. Talk about easy!

  35. Jess Says:

I absolutely love TK and CC so the combination for this was perfect. Anyone complaining about the language is definitely a dumbass. They can’t put two and two together so are complaining about some motherfucking language. The greatest thing about TK is the fact that it has an extreme excess of some fucking curse words. FOR COMEDY. One top of that, there are two very different fonts throughout the comic. One belongs to TK (who does much of the cursing) and the other to CC. Stop acting like you look at this website for high-brow jokes and pretending to suddenly be offended.
This comic was fucking EXCELLENT. I hope they do this again sometime.

  36. Jo Says:

Love you, love Thug Kitchen, I want some cock and ball pancakes!

  37. Kevin j Says:

Love the recipe man! I never heard of Thug Kitchen so now I got a new recipe location to check out. Also, I am excited that the book is finally being shipped! I can’t wait for it to arrive.

  38. Rob Says:

Another vote for taming down the language… Anyone that knows me knows I swear like a trucker and I don’t care or get offended when I hear them. That said, you have an established style that’s worked awesomely up to now. I also like TK a lot, but their style (and language) doesn’t fit with yours and could put some fans off. It’s cool you did this but I’m hoping it’s more of a one time thing. That said, I can’t wait for the book next week!

  39. Meredith Says:

People complaining about the language should shut the fuck up. Seriously? They’re just words, and it’s fucking Thug Kitchen. Also, no one is complaining about the dick pancake, which was also fucking hilarious! You can’t find that funny and then try to be classy about swearing. GTFO. <3 TK & CC!!!!!

  40. Silka Says:

These look awesome, though I think when I do it, I’ll blend the almond milk with the peaches, just so’s it’s a bit easier on my blender and goes more smoothly. XD

  41. Q&A with Tyler Capps, author/illustrator of "Cooking Comically" Says:

[…] You recently collaborated with Thug Kitchen and have previously worked with Cooking Channel.  Are any other crossovers in the […]

  42. Steven Says:

Pfft…the language was fine. If I remember correctly, the earlier Cooking Comically comics had a bit more swearing anyway. People just like to complain I ‘spose.

  43. Ashleigh Says:

Perfection, as always! Ignore the comments about language, they don’t get it. This is cooking comedy GOLD! Keep up the great work!

  44. Quix Says:

What makes words bad again? Devoid of context they don’t have meaning. Unless they’re directed at someone they’re just meaningless filler words.

  45. LOL Says:

People who get upset over words like “fuck” should grow the fuck up and get the fuck out.

  46. goodlookincook Says:

Love this, keep doin’ what you do man. This shit is great, I love how serious some people get, even when they are reading about a stick man making pancakes.

  47. Chris Says:

Check the baking powder measure… 1 Tablespoon is not equal to 5ml.

  48. peasoup Says:

This might be a stupid question but can I subsitute any milk for the almond milk? I don’t want to bother buying more milk for just one person when I hardly use it in the first place.

  49. Christina Says:

I tried this recipe with strawberries I was not impressed. When peaches are back in season I may try it with them.

  50. mum Says:

I used frozen strawberries umm no they were gummy bummed

  51. Sarah Says:

I love it! Hope you get together with Thug Kitchen real soon!

  52. Craysh Says:

Whoah there buddy! Slow your roll! Literally.

Make sure when you mix it, you don’t mix the shit out of it. Like waffles, muffings, etc, over-mixing increases the gluten and it just makes it a rubbery mess instead of the fluffy wonderland that can be pancakes.

Use a spatula and fold that batter instead of mixing it. After you have folded it a couple of times just let it sit for five minutes to rest. Ignore the lumps, they’ll work themselves out!

  53. Kenny Says:

    Keep doing this.
